(Posted October 26, 2016) I recently answered an email about whether eating meat, dairy and eggs is natural. I thought my answer might assist others.
Q: Isn’t eating meat (and other animal products) a natural thing? I thought it was so why is it wrong?
A: For the delusional meat, dairy and egg-eaters who claim that it’s natural to consume dismembered corpses, bodily fluids (milk & honey), and objects (eggs) that come OUT OF a hen's ass-vagina, since when do you care about doing things in a natural way?
First, most people possess the following unnatural items: computers, cell phones, TVs, cars, heating/air conditioning units, clothes, shoes, refrigerators, ovens, toasters, toilets, lighters, electricity, toilet paper, running water, filtered water, etc. And the impoverished ones who don’t possess the aforementioned, WOULD do so in a New York-second if they could!
And how come 99% of pregnant women in the Western World unnaturally give birth IN A HOSPITAL rather than squatting outside and pushing that little fella out in a pile of dirt or grass? And how come these women don’t naturally LICK their babies clean from head to toe after giving birth like all animals naturally do? And how come (most) humans are constantly washing & cleaning themselves with soap when all animals, once again, NATURALLY lick themselves to remove the filth, or don’t clean themselves at all?
And how come these 'natural' people unnaturally use dozens of toxic chemicals to clean their homes and offices? Exactly which animal created and uses chemicals that pollute the air, water and land, and harm all of the earth’s inhabitants? And which animal created Styrofoam and plastic bags that sit IN the earth for 1000s of years and never biodegrade?
And exactly which (non domesticated) animal drinks anything besides THEIR OWN mother’s milk and water? Why do humans spend billions of dollars buying soda, energy drinks, and other sugary/chemical creations? I thought humans were all about being natural?
How come people wear glasses, and take pills? The last time I checked, NO animal corrected their eyesight with glass goggles, nor needed vitamins/pills to maintain proper health.
And how come humans don’t greet each other with an ass-sniff? It is THE MOST natural way that animals greet friends AND strangers.
And why do meat, dairy and egg-eaters COOK and CLEAN the animal products they consume? Which omnivore/carnivore cooks flesh and adds oil, salt, sugar, and other spices to mask the taste of the flesh? And which creature cleans their KILL before consuming the corpse? And, by the way, the animals who eat flesh actually kill with THEIR mouths by sinking their teeth into the animal’s body and then ripping them apart piece by piece (read the HUMANS ARE HERBIVORES essay located on my www.adaptt.org site).
I guess my question is: Why do meat, dairy and egg-eaters always live UNNATURALLY 99.999999999% of the time, continuously perform and praise unnatural behaviors, yet always invoke the diametrically opposed behavior of lions, hyenas and sharks to justify the unnatural consumption of hamburgers, hot dogs and cheese?
And since when do humans look to the animal kingdom to decide what is moral, proper or compassionate? If we truly did that, and relied on animal behavior to determine right from wrong, wouldn’t rape and murder be justifiable? After all, many animals engage in those behaviors yet NO meat, dairy and egg-eater would ever say the following in defense of Jerry Sandusky, Bill Cosby, Dylan Klebold, Eric Harris, etc.: “Your Honor, since hyenas have been known to kill lion cubs without provocation, and male dogs fornicate with bitches whenever they want to, I believe all pedophiles, rapists and murderers should be exonerated!”
After all, if humans want to mimic the animal kingdom, why limit the mimicking to eating only?
Oh yeah, I keep forgetting that meat, dairy and egg-eaters aren't completely irrational when humans are the victims. They only embrace illogical behavior when animals are being discriminated against because they're addicted to meat, dairy, eggs and honey! And when it comes to one’s OWN addiction, addicts are the most insane, illogical, excuse-filled people to ever deface this earth. Have you ever known an alcoholic, a cigarette smoker or a heroin user to be rational or ethical when it came to alcohol, cigarettes or heroin? Of course not. And there is NO such thing as a rational—or ethical—meat, dairy, and egg-eater when it comes to animal issues and whether humans should be enslaving, murdering and eating animals.
Stop being delusional and hypocritical and step into the 21st century. Must a few enlightened souls ALWAYS have to explain to the masses why rape, slavery, baby-stealing, murder, exploitation, commodification and oppression are evil?
Just once it would be nice for EVERYONE to understand justice & equality WITHOUT having to debate and discuss, and then discuss the debate, and then debate the discussion for 100s or 1000s of years to obtain The Obvious!
